Don police arrest two men who attacked trade stand at night

The night before a local resident of the city of Bataisk contacted the police. The woman reported that an armed assault had been made the store located in the Severny District of the city of Bataisk on Rostov Oblast.

The police found that two unknown men entered the trade stand located in North Street about three o'clock in the morning. One of them pulled out a gun and threatened with punishment to the saleswoman forcing her to collect a package of food and give all the proceeds to them.

The 54-year-old woman pretended to be collecting the food and pressed the "alarm button" at the same time. Noticing this, the men ran out from the store and fled.

Due to the carefully planned operational and search activities the suspects were found and detained within an hour.

One of them - a 40-year-old resident of Bataisk - had previously been convicted for a similar offense, and his accomplice came in view of the law enforcement officers for the first time.

With respect to the two suspects prosecuted under Article 162 of the "Robbery"

Criminal proceedings have been initiated towards the two suspects under Article 162 "Robbery with violence".
