Militia employees of Irkutsk region are ready to maintain safety of 6th Baikal economic forum

Preparatory actions are over. The forces and means of militia are planned and calculated. Employees of the law enforcement bodies of Irkutsk region expect the beginning of the 6^th Baikal economic forum.

Irkutsk law enforcement officers are completely ready to this important political event in the life of the region.

This was reported today by the head of the operative Headquarters specially established at the Central Internal Affairs Directorate in Irkutsk region, deputy head of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate major general of militia Evgeniy Solovyov.

According to general Solovyov, to stabilize the situation in streets and in public places a number of preventive operations "Street", "Safe object", "Beacon light", "Fixed-route taxi", "Dive" and others were carried out.

The basic pressure will be on the shoulders of the patrol and inspection militia squads, precinct militia officers, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, the management of the private security service, the units engaged in struggle against offences at the consumer market. In total, over 2,000 employees of law enforcement bodies will be engaged in the safety maintenance of the events.

Beside the operative services and the public safety militia, military men of internal troops of the Ministry of Interior of Russia, cadets of the East-Siberian institute of the Ministry of Interior of the Russian Federation will be involved.
