Preventive campaign "Dorozhnaya Azbuka" ("Traffic alphabet") took place in Mordovia

A number of events "Dorozhnaya Azbuka" ("Traffic alphabet") concerning the traffic safety took place in A.S. Pushkin's park. All interested visitors of the park could take part in it. The participants of the campaign were welcomed by a merry Zebra who has become the invariable character of campaigns and festivals arranged by employees of the State Traffic Patrol Department to prevent traffic accidents and injuries.

On a platform near the summer stage employees of the State Traffic Patrol Department of Mordovia arranged a trivia game about traffic safety rules for children. Through the game "Red, yellow, green" the children revised the meanings of traffic lights' signals.

In conclusion of the event the school children and the pre-schoolers took part in a drawing contest "Road as viewed by children". Using crayons, the children drew on the asphalt not only cars and zebras, but also full plots of road situations, pictures of districts they live in, while others depicted their yards where they spend a lot of free time playing with friends.

The youngest participant of the contest was hardly 2,5 years old. It is pleasant to mention that not only children, but also their parents got interested in the contest and took crayons to depict their vision of the road. Each artist received a small present and the authors of the best works were awarded diplomas and special prizes from the State Traffic Patrol Department.
