Internal troops of Ministry of Interior of Russia honor memory of St. grand duke Vladimir

Today in day of memory St. grand duke Vladimir - the heavenly patron of internal troops of the Ministry of Interior of Russia - in the Cathedral cathedral Temple of the Christ of the Savior the solemn liturgy and prayer service took place.

Officers of the Main command, military men of the Separate division of operative appointment, military units of the Central regional command of internal troops of the Ministry of Interior of Russia took part in divine service - all nearby 400 persons.

Internal troops of the Ministry of Interior of Russia found the heavenly patron in 2002 on blessing of the Patriarch Moscow and vseja Russia Alex II. Before the beginning of a solemn liturgy and prayer service the deputy RF Minister of Interior - the commander-in-chief internal troops of the Ministry of Interior of Russia General of the Army Nikolay Rogozhkin noticed that in history of Russia Sacred Ravnoapostolnyj Grand duke Vladimir made transformations which appeared are close to the sluzhebno-fighting problems assigned to internal troops of the Ministry of Interior of Russia by the Federal law.

"Internal troops of the Ministry of Interior of Russia in a millenium continue the business begun Sacred ravnoapostolnym by Grand duke Vladimir, remained in memory national as the collector of the earths and the slavic people occupying these earths. Internal troops serve today as a reliable board and a state sword in uncompromising struggle against extremist, nationalist and terrorist attempts to destroy integrity of the Russian state,"  he told.

General of the Army Nikolay Rogozhkin thanked the Patriarch Moscow and vseja Russia Cyril, heads of dioceses on places, priors of churches and all clergymen of Russian Orthodox Church who render the active help in education of staff, military men not only in places of a constant disposition of military units, but also in districts of performance of sluzhebno-fighting problems, including in the territory of the North Caucasus Russia spiritually sponsor.

He noticed that internal troops of the Ministry of Interior of Russia and Russian Orthodox Church are connected by strong commonwealth.
