Militia problems were discussed at editorial office of the "Altay truth"

A round table meeting with participation of the head of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate in Altay area, lieutenant general of militia of Alexander Oldak took place in the editorial office of the newspaper "Altay truth".

The event was meant to sum up the results of work of the Altay militia over the preceding half a year, to consider issues and problems to be handled by law enforcement bodies in the near future.

Leading journalists, representing most different thematic aspects (politics, law enforcement, economics, sports life and news) participated in the session of the "Altay truth".

The head of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate presented to the team of the "Altay truth" a short report on the results of activity in the first half-year 2010 and remarked that the decreasing trend of the general amount of criminality continued prevail in the territory of the areas as well as in Russia as a whole.

The head of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate was asked lots of questions. Participants of the round table meeting discussed issues concerning reforming the regional militia, the necessity to improve the personnel policy, the interaction of law enforcement bodies and the public, the development of modern technologies which help law enforcement bodies to supervise the situation in streets of cities and villages and to detect crimes. In the near future this discussion will be covered in column of the newspaper "Altay truth".

It shall be remarked that it is not for the first time that the head of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate Alexander Oldak is meeting journalists of the leading regional newspaper in such a way. The round table meeting offers the readers an opportunity to get acquainted with most different aspects of the militia activity, to get the hot information about the work of various militia services.

As a whole, a friendly partnership has been maintained for many years between the editorial office of the newspaper and the Central Internal Affairs Directorate.
