Employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate carried out a campaign to acquaint children with traffic safety rules and with particularities of the state traffic patrol inspectors.
Their visitors were children living in the children's camp "Teenager" of the center of social assistance to the family of Zavodskoy district. The deputy chief of the department of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate in Orel region colonel N.I. Golovko invited the school children on an excursion starting with an educational conversation about the safety on roads.
"The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate works consistently to ensure safety of both drivers and pedestrians," said N.I. Golovko. "However, in many respects the culture of behavior of minors on roads depends on the proper education, on the example given by adults. This is what makes the explanatory and educational work so important.
After a summarizing lecture the school children were acquainted with the particularities of the work of employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, their equipment, weapons and technical equipment they apply. Also, they were given an opportunity to sit in a new official car of the road patrol service, to see motorized vehicles which are in the inventory of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.
The guests from the camp were shown weapons which they could survey in detail and even hold in hands. This part of the excursion had a special appeal for the kids who had never seen the combat equipment so close before.
The children promised they would henceforth follow the traffic safety rules. Many even wished to become militia employees later. At parting, the participants of the campaign were given sweet gifts and memory cards with rules of behavior on roads.
