Public council performed traffic safety spot-checks in Khabarovsk area

At the initiative of members of the Public council at the Internal Affairs Directorate in Khabarovsk area information and PR department of the regional Internal Affairs Directorate arranged spot-checks together with young traffic assistants.

Dressed in bright green and yellow suits and jackets "road patrol service", the children eagerly talked to drivers warning them about quite a umber of children being in streets due to the summer school vacations.

The children handed over colorful fly-sheets to each driver. No driver was rough or careless towards the participants of the campaign during the spot-check. All drivers who stopped by a wave of the baton of the employee of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate expected questions about their driver's license, identification numbers, infringements... yet they received just a child smile and a request to be more attentive on roads near pedestrian crossings and leisure areas for children and teenagers.

The members of the Public council are intended to perform the following spot-check before the start of another school year.
