Delegation of students and employees of University of Central Florida arrived in Volgograd academy of Ministry of Interior of Russia

Volgograd academy of the Ministry of Interior of Russia and the University of Central Florida (Orlando, the USA) have been maintaining steady partnership relations which have been stably developing since 2003.

Over the last eight years more than 130 students of the University visited the academy and took part in a specially arranged educational program while more than 20 cadets of the academy visited University of Central Florida and got acquainted with the system of criminal legal proceedings in the USA.

The purposes of this American delegation's visit are: getting acquainted with techniques and new educational technologies of education of lawyers within the framework of the higher education system of the Russian Federation, participating in lectures and presentations about the system of law enforcement and legislative authorities of regional and federal levels, getting acquainted with cultural and historical values of Volgograd and Volgograd region. The head of the delegation, professor of the University of Central Florida Kenneth Michael Reynolds has visited Volgograd academy of the Ministry of Interior of Russia on repeated occasions participating in research projects and giving lectures for cadets and employees of the academy.

The foreign colleagues visited the temporary custody center for underage delinquents at the Central Internal Affairs Directorate in Volgograd region. Visits to Volgograd regional Duma, the arbitration court of Volgograd region, the participation in presentations "Criminal legislation of Russia", "Modern system of training in high schools of system of the Ministry of Interior of Russia", "System of public prosecutor's supervision in Russia", "Drug situation in Russia" which will take place at the academy with participation of teachers of Volgograd academy of the Ministry of Interior of Russia, employees of the prosecutor's office and drug prevention bodies are planned.

Also, an extensive cultural program is arranged for the visitors including visiting the panorama museum "Stalingrad fight" and the national museum "War as viewed by children".
