Results of campaign "One day from militia life" arranged by Internal Affairs Directorate in Ulyanovsk region are summed up

One of priority directions of the Internal Affairs Directorate in Ulyanovsk region is information and propaganda work on illumination of activity of militia in mass media.

Vivid example of the adjusted business cooperation with leading representatives of mass media is the traditional annual campaign of the Internal Affairs Directorate in Ulyanovsk region "One day from a militia life". Its purpose - authentically to inform inhabitants of the region on specificity of militia service, to tell to citizens about everyday life of the Ulyanovsk militia officers from the first person.

For the short period of time representatives of the mass media visited field investigators of criminal investigation department and militia officers of the alert departments, precinct militia officers and experts of criminalistic service, were on duty together with employees of the State Traffic Patrol Department, visited dysfunctional families with employees of the juvenile units and struggled with infringements in sphere of the consumer market.

They had to face both misunderstanding of inhabitants and with grateful sights and words of gratitude of those to whom law enforcement officers came to the aid to the difficult moment.

Interesting publications and the video topics became result of fruitful work of representatives of the press, which inhabitants of the region could see on air of local broadcasting companies and on pages of newspapers.

For active participation in the campaign "One day from a militia life" and unbiased interpretation of activity of the Internal Affairs Directorate in Ulyanovsk region representatives of the mass media are awarded by letters of thanks of the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate.
