Militia employees arrange preventive events for teenagers in Magadan region

During the regularly carried out campaign "Fifth quarter" initiated by the Ministry of Interior of Russia, employees of the temporary custody center for underage delinquents of the Internal Affairs Directorate in Magadan region arrange preventive activities for teenagers.

In this institution, interests of children are studied to ensure the proper development of labor skills, to remove any lacks in knowledge. The principal mission of the teachers with epaulets is to change the behavior of children, to develop their sense of justice. This should help preserve young offenders from incorrigible errors.

The temporary custody center for underage delinquents of Magadan has accumulated considerable experience of working with problem teenagers, militia officers take advantage of a wide range of educational, development, correctional programs, techniques and forms which are constantly perfected. It shall be remarked that the children who most often are deprived of parental love and care open their hearts to the teachers' initiatives. The same was when the children were invited to visit the museum of regional studies in Magadan. Most of the teenagers visited it for the first time. Showing sincere interest they eagerly absorbed the information about the history and geography of the region and did not conceal positive emotions. The teaching staff of the temporary custody center for underage delinquents are planning an excursion to an exhibition of the Magadan artists in the nearest future.

Considering all particularities of the militia work employees of the temporary custody center for underage delinquents still see in these "problem" teenagers unfortunate children who need our help and support and sympathy. The society should unite its efforts to bring them up as worthy and law-abiding citizens of the future Russia.
