Inspector of State Traffic Patrol Department of Transbaikalian area is awarded medal "For courage in fire"

On the eve of the Day of workers of the State Traffic Patrol Department the inspector of the road patrol service of the STSI administrative office of the Internal Affairs Directorate in Transbaikalian area Sergey Terentyev is awarded a medal "For courage in fire".

In April, being on duty together with his partner he saw an apartment house on fire in one of microdistricts of Chita. Without delay, they woke the owners, helped them take out valuable things and started to extinguish fire risking their own lives.

Also, taking advantage of the holiday, about thirty best inspectors are awarded breastplates "For excellence in service of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate " and "For fidelity to duty".

In total, more than 700 employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate are working today in the area. Besides the traffic safety maintenance they are engaged in searching for stolen motor vehicles and disclosing crimes such as thefts and drug trafficking.
