Militia officers arranged pilgrim trip for children to Holy Virgin man's monastery in Samara region

The internal affairs department in Krasniy Yar municipal district of Samara region has been co-operating with the Center of psychological, medical and social support of Krasniy Yar district and with the Sunday school of the Archangel Michael's Church of the settlement Krasniy Yar for years. Many joint events are already carried out, and one of these days a pilgrim trip to the Holy Virgin man's monastery in village Vinnovka of Stavropolskiy district was arranged for the children in pursuance of this interaction.

The feelings which grasped the pilgrims as they stepped into the sacred domain can hardly be described. Among these is the awe and special pacification and admiration for the unusual beauty of the monastery and the surrounding terrain. The visitors were specially impressed by the bell tower treating to a marvelous view of the Volga river.

The group was accompanied by employees of the internal affairs department in Krasniy Yar: the orientation officer of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate senior lieutenant of militia Tatyana Korolyova and the psychologist of the personnel department senior lieutenant of militia Nadezhda Yefimova. By the way, all young pilgrims took an active part in the campaign "Week of the young pedestrian". The employee of the Center of psychological, medical and social support Anastasia Glazunova arranged intellectual games for the children during the trip.

The head of the internal affairs department in Krasniy Yar district lieutenant colonel of militia A.O. Tsodokov remarked: "The organization of such events and activities is also necessary for the moral and intellectual development of the younger generation and for the sake of prevention of crimes among minors and against them. This trip proves that efficient cooperation of various organizations is possible. Only by joint efforts can the overall objective of any society, the development and education of the next generation, be reached".

And the internal affairs departments in Krasniy Yar district and the Center of psychological, medical and social support of Krasniy Yar district are already planning new events and trips for children.
