Passengers of the commuter electric train going from Novosibirsk to Toguchin city were first a little surprised as they saw unusual travelers getting on the train at Novosibirsk station.
Heads of the linear department of militia at the station Inskaya and representatives of the open JSC "Express suburb" quickly prepared a little folding table, hung a colorful banner and invitedr passengers on a meeting via the intercom.
This how the field "public liaison office" of militia arranged by Novosibirsk railway and employees of the transport militia started to operate.
As expected, the improvised reception office was flooded with those who wished to ask urgent questions. Soon the passengers of the commuter train enclosed the participants of the dialogue in a dense ring.
Who sets prices for traveling by train, whether additional trains will be launched, why drunk passengers are let in... these and other questions in different interpretations were asked almost for the whole time on the way. Every request was registered in a special notebook to ensure taking measures later or assigning the problem to respective executive officers.
According to the head of the line internal affairs department at station Inskaya major of militia Dmitry Kuznetsov, such meetings should be arranged regularly, for they make it possible for both railwaymen and law enforcement officers to understand the real situation within their service areas.
Passengers suggest themselves where and when employees of the transport militia should increase their vigilance or the density of support squads. It is just the when administrative decisions are made due to the active stand of the population.
In total, more than 20 persons approached the field "public liaison office" with their offers and requests. Each passenger was provided attentive ear and a consultation.
