Mikhail Suhodolsky held meeting in Yaroslavl to address issues of preparation for maintenance of law and order during celebrating 1000th Anniversary of city

On July 9, 2010 the First Deputy Minister of internal affairs of the Russian Federation colonel general of militia Mikhail Suhodolsky made visit to Yaroslavl.

During a trip the first deputy head of the Ministry of Interior held meeting with the administrative board of the Internal Affairs Directorate on Yaroslavl region and territorial law enforcement bodies on preparation for maintenance of the law and order and safety in celebrating of the 1000 anniversary of the basis of of Yaroslavl and the international political forum which will pass in the city in September 2010.

Mikhail Suhodolsky visited a number of objects where there will pass celebratory events, and on a place got acquainted with a course of preparation for public order and safety maintenance.

From law enforcement bodies within the limits of preparation acceptance of additional measures is required, priority value is got by questions of counter-terrorism security.

At this stage working out of special plans of maintenance of a public order and safety on 16 basic objects is conducted, preparation of heads and staff for performance of duty is carried out, operative preventive actions are carried out.

In total for maintenance of a public order and safety in places of carrying out of actions, it is planned to involve over 5,000 persons.

With a view of perfection of maintenance of the law and order and public safety in the territory of Yaroslavl region the system "Safe region" is developed. One of segments of this system is the hardware and software complex "Safe city" which provides expansion of system of the video control over operative conditions by means of 548 video cameras.

The central link of a hardware and software complex "Safe city" - the squad management system providing the video control over operative conditions. The site of all squads the patrol and inspection militia service is displayed on a uniform electronic card of Yaroslavl. Besides, now 209 patrol cars are equipped by the navigating equipment.

 "Prior to the beginning of celebrating of the 1000 anniversary of the basis of of Yaroslavl and carrying out of the International political forum remains two months which will be used by law enforcement bodies as much as possible efficiently,"  the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate on Yaroslavl region major general of militia N.I assured.
